In the last diary, I wrote about me using a black plastic bag as a bag.
Today, when i brought a black plastic bag with documents in it, I got a word from an internship student, as following.
Monica “Have you known that you can ask an envelope to the receptionist?”
Kanako”What do you mean?”
M “I think you should put those documents in an envelope. You can ask the receptionist to give you one.”
K ”This is the way I like to bring my documents. Anything wrong with it?”
M “Yeah, I mean it doesn’t look professional. It is a plastic bag.”
K “ That’s it! Nobody can recognize that there are some important documents inside. That’s how I could escape from snatchers!”
M”I understand you. However, you should at least look professional. The black bag makes us think something to eat so that it shouldn’t be brought to the office.”
K “Oh, you are right. I shouldn’t do that”
M “You can go and get an envelope now!”
K “Okay, I will~”
I should mention that Monica is a kind and very intelligent student whom I definitely thank for. Since she is young woman, she really cares about how she looks and sometimes she even advised me to look better. I think she is sweet.
However, my favorite black plastic bag is now on the edge of a cliff.
How am I supposed to bring things without using the black plastic bag?
I wish I had better idea!
わたしが黒のビニルバッグを愛用している話を前回載せましたね。
きょう、いつものように黒いビニル袋に書類を入れて出先から職場に戻って来たら、マケレレ大学（ウガンダの東大？）からのインターンのモニカからこんなふうに言われてシモタ。
〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜〜
モニカ「カナコ、封筒というものがあるのを知ってる？」
カナッペ「う？なんでそんなこと聞くの？」
モ「その、黒いビニル袋に入っているやつ、封筒に入れたらいいわよ。受付でね、もらえるからさ。シバ（受付嬢）に言ってもらってきなよ。」
カ「え〜 この黒いビニル袋で持ち歩くの気に入ってんの。ダメかな？」
モ「気に入ってるって、どういうこと？？ヘンよ〜」
カ「だってさあ、誰もこの黒いレジ袋に大事なもの入ってるって思わないでしょ？ ひったくりに遭わないじゃん。だから逆にいいのよ」（→自信満々、意気揚々、焼肉定食、どんとこい。）
モ「気持ちはわかるけど、やめたほうがいいよ。プロっぽくないよ。黒いビニル袋でモノ持ち歩くのって小学生がすることよ〜」
カ「そうなの、、、ダメ？？」
モ「少なくともプロフェッショナルには見えないわ。お菓子か果物持ってるように見えちゃう。」
カ （しょんぼり）「そっか〜、オッケー 明日から封筒にするよ。シバにもらってくる。」
モ「今すぐに、もらって来た方がいいわよ。」
カ「はーい。」(今すぐだってさ。細かいなあ。）

一言添えておくと、モニカはけして嫌なやつではなくて、わたしの勤務開始初日からずっと一緒にいてくれた人で、すごく頭が良くて気が利く学生さんなのです。
アーノルド坊やとの接し方もヒントをくれる貴重な存在でした。（実は今日でインターン終わり＝ありがとモニカ）
でもやはり若いギャルなので、持ち物や髪型を注意してくれます。（笑）
今日はわたしが誇りに思って持っていた黒ビニル袋かばんを全面否定してくれました。
確かに果物やお菓子持っているように思われたらそりゃ良くない。
ということで、黒レジ袋かばん作戦は窮地に追い込まれました。
さあどうする？かなっぺ！
